Life at Carine Senior High School
At Carine Senior High School, students experience a dynamic and inclusive environment that encourages both academic and personal growth. A broad curriculum designed to cater to diverse interests and aspirations, including specialised programs in music, digital photography and visual arts, is offered at the school. Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities in sports, performing arts and community service initiatives, promoting a well-rounded educational experience.
Carine Senior High School is a Department of Education Gifted and Talented secondary selective entrance school, with academically talented students from outside the local intake area able to attend the school. Academic extension programs are also offered to students wanting to be further challenged. Additionally, to support students with diverse learning needs in literacy and numeracy, Carine Senior High School has a dedicated learning centre.
Support for students
International students can access comprehensive support services to ensure a smooth transition and successful academic journey. The dedicated student services team includes associate principals, year managers, a community health nurse, school psychologists, school support dogs and academic performance managers, all working collaboratively to monitor and support students.

Settling in
